Harvest Festival and Pumpkin Patch

Celebrate fall with us at our first ever Harvest Festival and Pumpkin Patch! Two weekends of family-fun filled fall activities and games including a U-pick pumpkin patch and carving contest, and Pirates of the Caribbean Walk-Through!

Dates: October 19-21st and October 26-28th.

Hours:

Friday (Oct. 19th/26th) - 5pm-9pm

Saturday (Oct. 20th/27th) - 2:30pm-9pm

Sunday (Oct. 21st/28th) - 2:30pm-9pm

Two weekends jam-packed with family friendly activities and events featuring Knudson Cove’s first ever Pumpkin Carving Contest.

The Harvest Festival and Pumpkin Patch is a family event so please make sure that your costumes AND carvings are appropriate for all audiences.

Events and Games you can expect to see:

-U-pick Pumpkin Patch - Find the one that best fulfills your fall dreams as you wander through our selection of over 1,000 pumpkins! (All sizes ranging from $10-15)

-Candy Fishing Pond - Kids can get some fall fishing in! An activity fun for younger kiddos they will get to lower a rod into our Candy Fish Pond and reel in a sweet treat at the end of their rod!

-Light up Hula Hoop Toss - Try your hand at horse wrangling! Toss hula hoops onto wooden horses and win some prizes!

-Ball in Bucket - Toss a li’l pun’kin win a prize out of the bucket in which it lands.

-Ring and Pumpkin Toss - Toss glow in the dark rings around a gourd and win yourself a prize! (Fun for the littles in your life.)

-Bouncy House- Fun for all big and small!

-Tic Tac Toe - Can you outsmart your friends in this spooky version of the classic game?

- Skeet Ball - Bumpy gourds add a challenge to this traditional game. How many points can you make?

-Spooky Sling Shot - Sling an emoji as far as you can in our giant sling shot!

- Tire Pumpkin Toss - Where will your pumpkin land?

- Hay Ride - Enjoy this classic fall activity with the whole family!

- Photo Booth - Get spooky or silly with our family fun photo booth! We’ll have the props you bring the smile!

- Pirates of the Caribbean Walk Through - Explore the dangers and perils of the high seas with our interactive walk through…if you dare…

and last but not least:

-PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST-

Pumpkin Judging will take place Saturday Oct. 27th at 5pm. Registration for competition will close at 5pm with winners being announced at 5:30pm.

The rules and expectations are simple:

Contest Registration- $5 (Entry into contest is not automatic with purchase of pumpkin.)

Judging -Pumpkin’s will be judged under two criteria: Best light and Best Carving

Age Categories - 8-12; 13-18; 19 and up

Rules -Pumpkins MUST be purchased from the K.C.M. Pumpkin Patch in order to be eligible for judging. (upon pumpkin purchase you will be given a receipt stub to hold onto and present with your carved pumpkin entry prior to judging on Oct. 27th.)

You're invited to Knudson Cove Marina's annual Summer Solstice Potluck! Bring the whole family, some food to share, and your own drinks (or buy some in our store). Live music featuring Dave Rubin, Chazz Gist, and Dianna Fast. Kids can enter the coloring contest. Limited-edition T-shirts ($20) and sweatshirts ($40) designed by Matt Hamilton for sale now. 


Proceeds benefit the Bob Olsen Vocational Scholarship fund, which awards scholarships to high school graduates who are pursuing vocational training and certificates.

Congratulations to Jack Carson, recipient of the 2017 Bob Olsen Vocational Scholarship. We wish Jack the best as he pursues a career in diesel mechanics!

Knudson Cove is open Monday - Saturday 8:00am - 5:00pm.  Closed Sundays.  Skiff rental hours are from 8:00am to 4:00pm (no overnight rentals).  14 foot skiff $50.00.  16 foot skiff $75.00  Small coffee 25 cents.

New Rentals for 2015

For 2015 we have added two new rental options:

Single Kayak

For $60.00 a day you can rent a single person kayak (we also rent tandems).  We provide all gear necessary.  Reservations are highly recommended as we have a limited number of kayaks available.  If you have a group wanting to go on a guided trip contact: Ketchikan Kayak Company 

 


Rachel Lee

22 ft Olympic: Rachel Lee

The Rachel Lee is our newest boat to our rental fleet.  A 22 foot Olympic sedan with enclosed cabin.  Powered by a Honda 225hp 4-stroke engine along with a Honda 9.9hp trolling motor.  Scotty electric downriggers, GPS chart plotter, vhf and depth sounder.  Rents for $400.00 per day plus fuel used.  Reservations required.
