FAQ

What days do you have available?

Because we get so busy in the summer, and the fishing season is limited, we try to fit everyone’s bookings just right so that everyone who wants to come can fit. Please email us at reservations@knudsoncove.com or fill out the form here and we will get back to you with the best lodging/boat options for your needs, and for dates that work for you.

What times are the boats you have allowed to start fishing every morning and what time does it have to come in?

Mostly they go out at 7 am in early summer and 6 am in late summer :-) Although sometimes we hold off on the boats leaving until later if it is still dark out & if the water is choppy. Our priority is to make sure it is visible and safe for everyone to head out.

Return time is usually 6 PM!

Are we able to fish the day we arrive and the day we leave?

Yes, the boat rentals are per day and you can use it when you arrive or the day you leave, as long as you are checked out of the condo/suite at 11:00 AM.

We can hold your luggage for you if you wanted to take the boat out after checking out of the room :-)

How is the method of payment done? Should we call with a payment or mail it in with a check?

There is a 50% non-refundable deposit to reserve the dates and boat, taken over the phone with a card, and the remainder is paid upon check-out.

You can add any fishing rods, tackle or bait while you are here to your total and pay it at the same time for one easy payment.

Any way we can take a trip to walmart/town?

There is a bus that stops at Clover Pass Church just up the hill from the marina - Takes about 10 minutes to walk up :) a bus ride is $2 and comes every hour. It goes straight to Walmart and other places in town.

What kind of fishing tackle or bait is included

No fishing tackle is included but we have a fully stocked tackle shop and plenty of herring for bait

If you set up a charter with us the captain will have everything you need onboard already!

What type of fishing do most people do in the area?

We see trolling with a cut plug herring very often here.
